Garden State provided a full range of engineering and surveying services for the construction of this dual facility distribution center, adjacent to Port Elizabeth, the second largest container port in the United States. The center comprises two buildings, the first with 182,000 square feet of space and 24 track bays, and the second with 342,500 square feet and 48 track bays. The site was formerly a Contrail train switching station, and is the final part of a large “Brownfield” redevelopment plan.
