All construction work for this $72 million, 644-seat performance space took plea while the main venue above was still open and in use. Complex temporary shoring systems were laid out, and constant monitoring of the subway (as close a 9 feet to the foundation) was performed, as workers removed over 6000 cubic yards of bedrock from the subsurface site.
